Sustainable agrarian development and regional geography in Azerbaijan

Abstract

This study examines the main patterns of agrarian development and regional geographical differentiation in Azerbaijan. Special attention is given to the interaction between land resources, rural settlement structure, and agricultural innovation. The article evaluates the role of geographical conditions in shaping regional agricultural specialization and identifies the main challenges to sustainable agrarian development in the country. The findings show that efficient land use planning, regional policy support, and the integration of innovative agricultural practices are essential for strengthening food security and ensuring balanced territorial development.
